Dawn and JWald's Question to Dr. Fidel and Cara: Explain why you chose your sermon title? What does God restore? Why did you say that God is generous when He restores us? Cara, what are your thoughts on how God's restoration works? Will our restoration exceed that of the state of Adam pre-sin? Why do you have a drone? How far have you flown the drone? Have you ever crashed the drone? Cara, do you know how to fly the drone? Have you crashed it also? Is it OK to question God? What are the different kinds of touch?
Dawn and JWald's Question to Dr. Hyveth:
Why was Jacob so blessed? Why did Jacob suffer so much tragedy? Why is God the God of those who have had bitter experiences? Why does God break us before restoring us? What accents do you have? If Jacob thought it was Essau, why did he ask for a blessing? Why was Uzzah killed by God? What can we learn by Uzzah's touch of the ark? Is it good to wrestle with God? Do we wrestle with God or does God wrestle with us? Why do we fear God judging us? Why don't we think God is fair?
Questions for Dr. Hyveth from the Pastor's Line Did Jacob wrestle with an angel or with Christ? Why does God favor sinners?

Fidel Soto
Fidel Soto was born into a migrant family in central California. After many years of migrating, the family settled in the Boise, Idaho area where Fidel attended Gem State Adventist Academy. Fidel's personal experience with Jesus Christ began when he was 12 years of age, and at 16 years of age he gave life to God through baptism.
After graduating from High School, Jesus Christ called Fidel to the pastoral ministry. Fidel finished his Theology degree in 1996 from La Universidad de Montemorelos, Mexico, and the next year he married, the love of his life, Cara Wageman. They went on to attend Andrews University where Fidel became the father of two girls and completed the M.Div and later the D.Min program.
Fidel has served in the Florida Conference for the last 18 years in various churches. He now serves as a pastor at the Miami Springs Seventh-day Adventist Church.
His passions are living for Jesus Christ, serving people, teaching and outdoor activities like mountain biking, backpacking, photography and drone flying.
