N. Abraham Rose
Pastor N. Abraham Rose is native son of the beautiful island of Jamaica and immigrant son to the states of New York and Florida. He is employed with the Florida Conference and currently serves as the senior pastor at the Plantation Seventh-day Adventist Church in Plantation, Florida.
Prior to joining this Conference, Pastor Rose worked with Central Jamaica and Greater New York Conferences, respectively. He has an open and inclusive style of leadership that inspires his team leaders and members to work together toward the mission of the church, the results of which have been continued spiritual and numerical growth. He loves what he does and is passionate about saving lost souls.
Pastor Rose is an ordained pastor, trained and certified as a Marriage Counselor and Chaplain, and holds career-related professional memberships. Additionally, as a board member of Direct Action Research Training, DART, which is the national umbrella organization for BOLD Justice, an inter-faith justice ministry made up of some twenty-five congregations, he is an advocate for the cause of justice and fairness in the State of Florida.
He enjoys cycling, tennis, and spending quality time with God and his family. One of his life’s goals is to retire and open a woodwork shop. He has been married to Christine for the past twenty-six, and together they share two adult children.
