September 17, 2016 Sermon: How to Breakup with Me
A sermon by Pastor Laton Smith from Plantation SDA Church on September 17, 2016.
The key text for the sermon will be: Rom 12:1-3; 2 Kings 7:3-4
A Living Sacrifice 12 I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. 2 Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
Gifts of Grace 3 For by the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think with sober judgment, each according to the measure of faith that God has assigned.
The Holy Bible: English Standard Version. (2001). (Ro 12:1–3).
The Syrians Flee 3 Now there were four men who were lepers at the entrance to the gate. And they said to one another, “Why are we sitting here until we die? 4 If we say, ‘Let us enter the city,’ the famine is in the city, and we shall die there. And if we sit here, we die also. So now come, let us go over to the camp of the Syrians. If they spare our lives we shall live, and if they kill us we shall but die.”
The Holy Bible: English Standard Version. (2001). (2 Ki 7:3–4).
