Reggie C's Deeper Dive Questions to Pastor Joe:

Can you explain the illicit story of how Ruth's people came to be from Lot? What were the names of two nations that came from Lot? How did Lot's descendants become so pagan? Why did Naomi give her kids names with such negative meanings? Why would Naomi tell her daughers-in-law to go back to paganism Do we fear that the congregation might look down on visitors that we might bring to church? What was the importance of Ruth's name? What's the importance of Orpah's name? Why didn't Ruth return to paganism? What does Ruth's name mean and how does that play a role in the story? What is gleaning? What was Boaz relationship to Naomi? Why didn't Naomi ask Boaz up front for help? Why did the Bible have specific instructions for helping widows? How did the 10 years of trials in Midian impact Naomi? How do we re-energize the women of the church? What can we do for single mothers in the church? How much older was Boaz than Ruth? Why do most people think they were close in age? Why did Naomi tell Ruth to visit Boaz at night? Why did Naomi tell Ruth to wait until Boaz spoke? Why is it important to evangelize to EVERYONE not just people we're comfortable with? Why did the citizens of Bethlehem look down on Naomi? Did they question her faith? Do we look down on people today when they return to church?

Her love for sharing Jesus began when she dedicated her voice to Him, as a child by singing throughout the islands; preaching began during high school. Motivated to answer God’s call on her life, Jen moved her family to England, where she obtained her BS in Behavioral Sciences at Newbold College. Together with her husband, Armando, and their five boys, God has taken them on a journey of faith, with opportunities to share His love throughout Europe and the United States. She enjoys being actively involved in children’s ministries, women’s ministries, and worship ministries.
