  • Anslem Paul

    Pastor C. Anslem Paul was born the second son of two sons to Elder & Mrs. O. H. Paul, in Palm Beach Gardens, FL, in 1972. At an early age he gave his heart to the Lord and found that his calling was to engage other young people in the ministry of preparing the world for the 2nd coming of Jesus.

    He graduated from Oakwood College in 1996 with a degree in Ministerial Theology, while also having matriculated thru the Business Administration Program. Prior to graduating from Oakwood, Pastor Paul had the wonderful opportunity of serving in the South Pacific Division for a year in Australia as an Associate Pastor in the Victoria Conference of Seventh-day Adventist.

    Pastor Paul received a call from the Southeastern Conference in 1996. After having matriculated thru both the Master’s of Divinity and the Masters of Youth Ministry programs at Andrew’s University in Berrien Springs, Michigan, and pastoring several churches in Florida and Georgia, Pastor Paul is currently the pastor of the New Hope S. D. A. Church in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

    In 2014, Pastor Paul made a very special “Altar Call” to Ms. Arcinda Massop. She responded to that call by walking down the aisle to become his wife in May of 2015.

    Pastor Paul believes that no dream is too big, and that no effort put forth is too great when it comes to sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ with the world. Creativity, innovation, passion, the power of the Holy Spirit, and knees scuffed up from seasons spent in prayer are what he believes will make the biggest difference in the world around him.


  • Carina Edwards

    Carina Edwards was born in Miami, FL to Jamaican parents Susan Edwards and Carlos Edwards. Her grandfather and great grand father are Seventh-Day Adventist pastors.She grew up in the Seventh-Day Adventist church and started coming to plantation at around the age of 5. As soon as she moved to plantation with her parents, she became extremely active in church, by particpating in activities such as the children's choir and the pathfinder club. As a young child, her parents and others noticed her god-given talents of singing and public speaking. As she got older she began to serve on the youth praise team and choir and occasionally takes part in the norms of church service. Carina strives to have a good relationship with God and serve him wholeheartedly. She is currently 15 years old and takes part in many activities at church, such as choir, pathfinders, and the praise team.


  • Cassandra Pierre

    Cassandra Pierre is a passionate advocate for social justice and is sensitive to the unique needs and cultures of the South Florida communities. Ms. Pierre was born and raised in Haiti. Her mother and father were educators who worked as public
    servants, helping the less fortunate. Their fervent desire to help those in need instilled the same passion in Ms. Pierre. In 2000, she earned a law degree from the State University of Haiti. A few years later, she immigrated to the United States.

    After Ms. Pierre came to the United States, she pursued her education and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Florida Atlantic University in 2007. About two years later, she earned a Master of Social Work from Barry University in 2009. As a social worker, Ms. Pierre worked with underserved communities, affecting change for minorities and contributing to society. She later earned a Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law in 2016.

    While in law school, Ms. Pierre interned at the University of Miami Immigration Clinic, where she represented clients in removal proceedings and participated in advocacy projects to improve human rights for noncitizens. Also, Ms. Pierre interned at the University of Miami Children and Youth Law Clinic, representing clients in dependency proceedings. Moreover, she was honored to work as a staff editor for the University of Miami Race and Social Justice Law Review.

    Ms. Pierre currently serves as an Assistant Public Defender. In this capacity, she combines her legal and social work skills to provide the best representation for her clients. Her passion for advocacy and social justice has
    inspired her to pursue a career in public service.


  • Dexter Thomas

    Dex has been doing motivational speaking around the world for the past 15 years, speaking in hundreds of organizations and to over 20,000 in-dividuals in 10 countries. His heart is to teach practical tools for improving every area of our life.

    Dexter knows about motivation and overcoming because he has over-come significant difficulties in his own life. Born blind into a poor fam-ily of eight children on the Island of Trinidad, his early life had many limitations. As a young adult, he was in a serious accident in which he was severely injured and nearly died.

    In spite of these early obstacles, he went on to achieve several signifi-cant milestones, including earning two Masters degrees and a doctor-ate in U.S. schools. He has traveled and spoken extensively throughout the United States and the Caribbean, as well as in Europe and Asia, speaking in 10 countries so far. He was the founder of an outreach to the poor and homeless in Oakland, California. He is currently the founding director of a nonprofit that services the blind community. In addition, he has several inventions and products under development, runs a real estate business, and has written three books:

    - Messy Revival: Funny Stories for a Change
    - 40 Days of Power: An innovative approach to improving your wellbeing and maximizing your potential

  • Gervon Marsh

    Gervon Marsh is a pastor with Seventh-day Adventist church since 2003. Presently he serves as the Ministerial Field Associate with the Florida Conference of Seventh-day Adventist.

    Pastor Marsh is a graduate of Northern Caribbean University (Jamaica) were he earned Bachelors of Arts (B.A.) in Religion and Theology; a graduate of Andrews University (Michigan, U.S.A) were he earned a Master of Divinity (M.Div.); and a graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary with his Doctor of Ministry (D.Min).

    He is married to the former Miss. Yanique Stobbs and together they are proud parents of their bundle of joy Kelsey Yanique Marsh who was born in March 1, 2019


  • Jennifer Hernandez

    Jennifer Hernandez was born and raised on the beautiful island of Oahu, Hawaii. Her love for sharing Jesus began when she dedicated her voice to Him, as a child by singing throughout the islands; preaching began during high school. Motivated to answer God’s call on her life, Jen moved her family to England, where she obtained her BS in Behavioral Sciences at Newbold College. Together with her husband, Armando, and their five boys, God has taken them on a journey of faith, with opportunities to share His love throughout Europe and the United States. She enjoys being actively involved in children’s ministries, women’s ministries, and worship ministries. Jennifer recently graduated with her Master of Divinity degree from Andrews University Theological Seminary and is excited to now be serving as an Associate Pastor at Plantation Seventh-day Adventist Church.


  • Joseph Salajan

    Pastor Joe was born in the little town of Crasna (Romania). Ever since he was a child, he has been fascinated by the unique connection between pastors and their special book, the Bible. When at the age of 7 he received his first little Bible from a brave pastor who was able to procure it for him in spite of the interdictions of the communist regime, he felt special and decided one day he would become a pastor.

    After serving as a Pastor for 8 years in Romania, in 2013 he immigrated to the USA. He currently serves as Lead Pastor of Plantation Seventh-day Adventist Church. Along with his wonderful wife Anda and their gorgeous daughter Alessandra, he enjoys proclaiming God’s grace and ministering to his fellows.

    By God's grace, in February 2020 he completed my doctoral program obtaining a Doctor of Ministry degree in Preaching/Homiletics from Andrews University. His hobbies are languages, music, and poetry.


  • Kevin A. McKoy

    Kevin, a native of Jamaica, desires to grow in God’s grace, and to live God’s will for his life. His passion is to nurture God’s people by embodying the Gospel of the Kingdom of God. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Religion with a concentration in Pastoral Ministry from Northern Caribbean University in Jamaica and a Master of Divinity in Pastoral Theology and Care from Yale University. Kevin is married to Sheriece, and they are waiting the birth of their first child. Kevin is a supporter of Liverpool Football Club and enjoys sport in general.

  • Paul Anderson

    Pastor Paul Anderson is the president of the Northern Caribbean University Alumni Association Chapter of South Florida now for 4 years. He has served in ministry for over 12 years and His tenure has covered Pastoral and Educational leadership roles. His academic background is in Theology, Education and counseling and is currently spending time in the classroom to educate young scholars.

    He is married to Linnie Anderson with a little gem named Annnalise and they are both leading the Family Life Department at Plantation SDA. They enjoy mentoring young people to finish the work of building up God's Kingdom.


  • Rob Stevenson

    Mr. Stevenson attended Andrews Academy, then Cedar Lake Academy and graduated from Andrews University with a degree in Psychology and Religion. He later earned a Masters Degree in Educational
    Leadership from the University of Southern Mississippi.

    After college Mr. Stevenson worked as a boy’s dean, campus chaplain, history teacher, Bible teacher, vice principal then principal of several Adventist Junior, Senior and Boarding Academies across the
    United States.

    While working in schools, he was blessed as a capable and inspired public speaker who loves to share his love for the Lord and Adventist Christian education. He is most happy working with students, preaching,
    teaching, and conducting weeks of prayer and evangelistic series.

    Rob was married to his wife Tina since 1988. They have two children, a son Alexander 26 who lives in Chattanooga TN, and a daughter Sheree 24 who lives in Kettering Oh. Mr. Stevenson is currently the principal of Sawgrass Adventist School for this next school year.
