Questions in this episode: Why did Jesus call the religious leaders hypocrites? Should we abstain from calling religious leaders or our biological dads “father”? Is this verse announcing modern-day persecution? What can we do to prepare for the day of persecution?
If no one knows the day or hour, why are we so focused on end-time prophecy and try predict Jesus’s second coming? What is the meaning and significance of the baptism of Jesus? If baptism means to die to self and resurrect in Jesus, why did Jesus, who is God, get baptized? What does it mean to sin against the holy spirit? Does this passage indicate that we won’t be forgiven when we sin against the holy spirit even if we repent and ask for forgiveness? Why not? Are there other sins that can’t be forgiven?
