Chance Hernandez, son of Armando and Jennifer Hernandez, was born in the city of
Honolulu, on the beautiful island of Oahu, Hawaii on May 1st, 2000. From there, God has led
him through his parents across the world to England, where he has seen a bit of Europe, and back
here, living all over the United States. One cool fact about his traveling experience is that he has
never lived in one place for more than four years! He has been a traveler all of his life, growing
up with a lot of different cultures, and embracing their way of living. He loves to try new foods,
and also daring and dangerous things.
He now studies at Southern Adventist University, in Collegedale, Tennessee where he
anticipates earning a bachelor's degree in Nursing. Some of his favorite hobbies include playing
his guitar, singing, playing soccer, and hanging out with his friends. Chance is a big dreamer,
and he hopes to accomplish many things in his life; like expounding on his musical talents and
writing and producing some original songs. One of his biggest aspirations is to circumnavigate
the globe in a catamaran that he will definitely own one day. He has extreme passions for ocean
wildlife, ocean wildlife preservation, and water sports of any kind. Chance wishes to join the
United States Air Force after college with his Nursing degree, where he hopes to become a
Pararescueman. He wishes to do so because he feels called to help save the lives of our soldiers,
and more importantly, the lives of the civilians who are caught in the crossfires of war.
